Finding a Friend

Hey Jammers!

Most of us are in the situation where we have many friends who we know in person that are also on Animal Jam but aren't always on at the same times you are. Or, you could be in the situation where you're discovering AJ for the first time and don't know anyone. When this happens, I would recommend finding an internet friend. This is how

Step 1 - Make You den friend-friendly. Buy a few chairs and tables and set them up outside (see my den inspiration posts for more ideas on how to do this). Add a pond, pool or beach towels for you to relax on and decorate your den nicely.

Step 2 - Go to the Pillow Room in Jamaa Township. This is right next to the arcade and has a buddy sign on it. Some people know this as the adoption room. Many people here is put up an advertisement, hoping to find a partner, family member or friend. 

Step 3 - Advertise. Say you're looking for a new BFF; someone to have fun with. Many people will like the sound of this and come rushing to you. 

Step 4 - Pick carefully. When picking a BFF, look at what they're wearing. If it looks nice, then they are good as they might have good stuff to trade with you or can help you pick your outfits. Sometimes members make better friends as they give you some of their stuff and have a bigger den to hang out in, but other times non-members are great fun as they are often more imaginative with what they have and can probably relate more to your situation.

Step 5 - Hang out! Go to the movies, play games together, go to parties together, have dinner, go to the beach, go shopping, the list is endless of things you can do! But be sure to never give personal information because as friendly as they seem, you never know who is on the other side.
